Organising events off the water
The Club House (known as just House) and Social Committee provides several off-the-water events including hot and cold food and drink served most weeekend lunchtimes when the club house is open, and when the galley can be manned by volunteers or those on duty.
In 2023, the self-service tea and coffee station was official introduced as was the ability for the club to make card payments, thus reducing the requirement members to man the galley.
Additionally to this, several events in our Sailing Programme are preceeded with an after-racing meal, or when the weather permits, a BBQ.
Whilst we encourage our members to sail, they do not have to, and some just enjoy just our social events which are greatfully put on by the the House Committee which together as a voluntary team to give some great events throughout the whole year.
